Participants in the HCF No-Gap GLA:D® Knees Program will be fully reimbursed for treatment costs (up to contracted fees with registered providers) after:
To receive reimbursement, participants should pay their provider directly for their treatment and submit a claim for reimbursement at the end of each session or at the end of their course of treatment. Claims should be made by emailing a copy of your treatment invoices directly to glad@hcf.com.au.

The GLA:D® Program for Osteoarthritis is a proven, evidenced-based education and exercise program developed by researchers in Denmark for people with knee or hip osteoarthritis symptoms. It’s delivered by GLA:D®-certified physios and exercise physiologists. This comprehensive program aims to:
The GLA:D® Program for Osteoarthritis is designed to help reduce the symptoms of knee or hip osteoarthritis by improving strength, mobility and confidence in your everyday movement. Through education and exercise sessions, the program aims to reduce pain, increase function, improve stability and support better quality of life.

The treatment program includes individual and group education and exercise sessions with a physio or exercise physiologist. These sessions are delivered in person and include:

* Eligible members must have held HCF hospital cover for 12 months and hospital cover for joint replacement surgery for a minimum of 2 months and be up to date with their premiums. They mustn’t have participated in the GLA:D® Program for Osteoarthritis in the previous 2 years and be willing and able to complete the member feedback surveys. Clinical eligibility criteria apply.

+ Eligible members must have held HCF hospital cover for 12 months and hospital cover for joint replacement surgery for a minimum of 2 months, have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 28 and higher, knee or hip osteoarthritis and are considering joint replacement surgery.
# Eligible members must have held hospital cover for 12 months (excluding Accident Only Basic and Overseas Visitors Health Cover). Clinical eligibility criteria also apply.
~ To be eligible you must have HCF extras cover that includes physiotherapy, exercise physiology or health management program limits.
